About Me

Hello. My name is Rachel McMullin. I am a stay-at-home mom to two girls. I love to learn about the history of items and their previous owners. I started this blog as a way to stay connected to family and friends after moving several states away. As well as to catalog the various treasures and projects we find as we move into and explore the Morrissey family home.

About the House

The Morrissey family house land was purchased 1913 and the building of the house was completed 1914. The home was constructed by William Morrissey (my husbands great-great grandfather) with the help and direction of his wife May Morrissey. They had three daughters Emily May, Adeline Marshall (my husbands great grandmother), and Florence Rasenen. Adeline had two daughters Susan (my husbands grandmother) and Jane. The home currently contains items created by, loved, purchased, and used by these seven main people.
